  • Abstract
    Geography spatial data sharing and interoperation are the key technology of digital earth as well as digital city. They are also the precondition of national spatial information construction and spatial data utilization. Based on the analysis of several key technologies such as ontology, GML, GIS data integration and interoperation as well as their present research status, the system framework of GIS data integration and interoperation is studied firstly in this paper. Then, an ontology and GML-based spatial data exchange model and SVG-based information visualization model are proposed. Finally, by describing specific spatial concepts and their relationship with ontology, and labeling data model with ontology information, the data model not only has structure information but also has semantic information. Which provides a well support for the realization of full semantic data exchange.
