Abstract
Excellent design of PWM converter can reduce the unwanted effects of the converters (such as switching harmonics). A single-phase topology usually is used for design of the active filters for three-phase, three and four wires systems. The equations are improved for three-phase, three-wire systems to calculate optimal value of the parameters in this paper. A quasi-triangular switching strategy is introduced to reduce the delay time of the switching pulse and a design topology for three-phase three-wires PWM converter is described based on this switching strategy
