Abstract
The increase of the requirements to quality of production all over the world encourages producers to manufacture high-performance goods. Broad application of single-phase induction motors in home appliances, medicine, agriculture etc., intensifies the urgency of the problem of quality. Analysis of production techniques of electric machines and the single-phase IM in particular, demonstrates that, at manufacturing, dispersion of the sizes of parts, assembly units, properties of used materials occur. The authors describe how the modern methods of simulation of different processes and phenomena allow to conduct research with minimum costs for producers
