Abstract
Describes a design strategy for telerobotics platforms based on low cost software and hardware. What is presented here is an approach that develops master slave teleoperation systems that can be improved or simplified until the desired level of performance is reached. This allows us to build either experimental or actual use platforms within low cost rates
