  • Abstract
The method for absolute evaluation of X-ray scatter and veiling glare (SVG) in coronarographic images on cine films has been proposed in the light of some known approaches to this problem. In the method the reference object of the known X-ray attenuation is used and two kinds of characteristics: film sensitivity characteristic and image brightness vs. film optical density of the computer image acquisition system. The preliminary results have shown the significant contribution of X-ray SVG in images of coronary artery with contrast medium
