Abstract
Examination of large number of microscopic slides, as well as, carrying off clinical and screening tests are possible to be done only with the help of automatic acquisition of images in the process of automatic scanning of microscopic slides. But there is the difficulty that time of scanning of microscopic slides of cytological smears is very long. The more accurate scanning is applied the longer it takes to complete the process. An application has been developed to move quickly over empty smear regions evaluating contents of scene by the analysis of live camera signal. The application was written in Borland C++ Builder 3.0 environment and is dedicated for Windows NT
