Abstract
Summary form only given. In this paper we show, to our knowledge for the first time, the error-free reception of a 155 Mbit/s signal transmitted over 1 km of optical fiber and upconverted to 58 GHz by optoelectronic conversion using a mode-locked laser (MLL).
