Abstract
Some disadvantageous effects caused by intermodulation distortion (IMD) in cable television networks are described. A system for automatic measurement of unwanted intermodulation products in CATV equipment is presented. Three different methods of measurement included in the system are mentioned. The system is suitable for different kinds of measurements and can be used for homologation tests of equipment
