New Computer Peripherals Syllabus for computer study program

The dynamism of the computer peripheral field and the wide variety of peripherals requires careful attention in conducting Computer Peripherals subject. The paper proposes several improvements to the Syllabus of Computer Peripheral subject complying with the orientation outlined in international documents. The purpose of these changes is to increase the attractiveness of the subject and to improve student´s academic results. The way in which students appreciated these changes was monitored over a period of three years. The results of a pilot study confirm the effectiveness of the changes. Following these good results, changes in Syllabus were taken to other similar subjects from other specializations.
