Abstract
We construct a family of optimal spreading sequences for an asynchronous DS-CDMA system by filtering the sequences generated by dynamical systems with Lebesgue spectrum. The BER, code acquisition performance, and user capacity of the system by using this family of sequences are shown to be superior than those of Gold codes
