Abstract
A novel ceramic synthesis technique, combustion synthesis, was explored to produce a blue-emitting ZnGa2O4 phosphor with improved physical and luminescence properties. In this study, the preparation of the ZnGa2O4 phosphor by the combustion synthesis is based upon a thermally polymerizable water-ethylene glycol system in which zinc and gallium nitrates are soluble
