Abstract
Access, MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle9i databases are studyed in this paper. Aiming at the characteristics of data types in heterogeneous database, simple but flexible data types matching method is proposed. In the environment of C#.Net, using standard SQL language and binary text file as intermediate data file, heterogeneous database import-and-export system is developped, which is relatively independent to individual DBMSs. The practical application results show that the method is rapid and feasible on data exchange for heterogeneous databases.
