Abstract
The stability analysis problem is investigated for networked predictive control systems with varying controller gains in this paper. By introducing a new auxiliary variable and analyzing the deep relationship between two consecutive sampling points, the NCS is transformed into a coupled switched system. The sufficient condition guaranteeing the asymptotical stability of the coupled switched system is presented by virtue of the small gain theorem. The proposed stability analysis method is easier to test in practical network environment and much less conservative than existing ones. An algorithm to solve the desired controllers is also presented.
