  • Abstract
    This paper presents a testing method for infrared radiation characteristics of the aircraft exhaust system. By using graphical programming language of virtual instrument development testing platform, infrared radiation characteristics of jet aircraft are studied. Infrared radiation can be achieved, displayed and so on. The virtual panel and block diagram are designed. The system designed mainly is composed of infrared radiometer calibration, data collection procedures and showing procedures. Simulation results show that the method is reliable and practical.
