Abstract
Bangla is the sixth largest language and around one eighty five million people around the globe speak in Bangla. However, there is a strong difference in the style of speaking Bangla among the people of different regions. Although there were many efforts for translation of information between English and Bangla languages, according to our knowledge, so far there is no consideration about the computerization of local languages of Bangla. Considering this fact, in this paper we develop a framework that can translate different local languages to original Bangla written language and vice versa. In addition, our system can perform translations among different local languages of Bangla. We have implemented the system with a number of test cases and found that the system can perform different translations up to a satisfactory level.
