  • Abstract
    In recent years, disconnection issues have become increasingly prominent along with the city distribution network insulating. This paper reviewed some main methods of disconnection prevention caused by lightning, and the mathematical derivation breakage mechanism was analyzed. On this basis, this paper introduces several new measures to prevent insulated wire breaking caused by lightning, including using overvoltage protector, puncture protection fittings and lightning protection composite insulator. The author suggested that the appropriate preventive measures should be selected according to the situation.
