  • Abstract
    Reactive power control is one of important grid-connected performance index of the photovoltaic (PV) power station. PV power station must provide corresponding reactive power under different grid disturbance condition, in order to meet grid code. The dynamic reactive power compensation devices and grid-connected PV inverters both provide reactive power for PV power station, but with different performances. A PV power station model was built with DlgSILENT/PowerFactory in this paper, the coordinated methods for controlling the dynamic reactive power compensation devices and grid-connected inverter groups have been studied, and then an optimized reactive control strategy was proposed to build the PV power station´s reactive power support ability.
