Abstract
The fuel cells technology improvement facilitates its application in different fields of human life. Thus the modeling and simulation of the fuel cells operation become more and more important not only for their manufacturers but also for the researchers in their application fields. This paper presents the dynamic modeling of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell with its control system for the aims of electric hybrid systems simulation. The realized model in Matlab-Simulink takes into account the processes in the fuel cell when its current varies. The control system ensures the accomplishment of the system operator requirement for the fuel cell output power.
