  • Abstract
    With the developing of hot water washing for 500kV transformation apparatus, research on cleaning efficiency is becoming more and more important and meaningful. In general, the length of post insulators in 500kV substation ranges from 8 to 10 meters, which means the higher request for water column range and washing angle matching during the course of water washing is needed in order to shorten water column range to improve the water pressure and make sure that the insulators could be washed clean, a washing device with the help of two three-axesed robots located on the top of the locomotive flat is introduced; due to the flat highth, the distance between power apparatus and water nozzles can be efficiently reduced. What´s more, two typical washing models are introduced in this paper, namely manual and robot-applied; three washing methods are studied under the condition of different pollution, and the influential factors of water pressure on the washing course are also discussed.
