Abstract
With the advantage of all-time and all-weather capability, high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar plays a important role in variant areas include remote sensing, navigation and military strike. However, SAR images always exhibit very different features with corresponding optic images. SAR image simulation is an helpful tool to under the SAR image. In this paper, we present a SAR image simulation method for urban structures. Firstly, “Rhinoceros 4.0” software is used to create 3D scene and every vertex data is exported. We adopt GO(Geometrical Optics), PO(Physic Optics) and ILDC to compute the scattering coefficient of every facet. The SBR method is used to evaluate the multiple reflection between different facts. At the end, the simulation results are presented to prove the validity of this method.
