Abstract
The aim of this work is to study TDMA in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) based on the IEEE 802.11 standard, with the aim of increasing the number of subscribers served by roadside stations by establishing a fixed-size slots and guard interval. The resulting TDMA sublayer is based on the existing MAC layer standard 802.11a. The simulation is made on network simulator NS-3.
