Abstract
This paper analyzes content provisioning cost and the amount of network traffic generated by mobile nodes in wireless networks supporting Internet of Things (IoT). For content delivery, cooperative caching is adapted to mobile nodes where a content request message from a node is broadcasted to the connected nodes within the network before it is sent to the content provider (CP) via cellular infrastructure. It is shown that there is the critical cache division ratio to minimize content provisioning cost, and the amount of network traffic decreases as the cache division ratio increases.
