Abstract
A main cause of an error, which springs up during the measurement of antenna parameters on high elevation angles is described. Equations for error evaluation and analyze are given. A numerical experiment is made and the dependence of the error on an antenna ground plane size is presented. Experimental measurements of the antenna characteristics on high elevation angles, which confirm the numerical experiment results, are presented.
