Abstract
Although "Code for fire protection design of coal chemical industry", "Code for design of fire protection for fossil fuel power plant and substation " and" Code for Design of Fire Protection and Prevention for Iron Steel Metallurgy Enterprises " all put forward requests for Indoor coal storage yard. But the design form of coal storage yard have big difference, and with the improvement of technical requirements and the level of automation. Some projects can not design simply according to a certain specification requirements in automatic fire alarm system, It needs to performance based design combined with characteristics of the project and the domestic and foreign advanced experience. Combined with the characteristics of the project of a domestic indoor coal storage, this paper analyses and puts forward to ensure the fire safety goals, For this goals, this paper puts forward the design requirements of automatic fire alarm system In the prevention of spontaneous combustion of coal heap, bunker explosion, the fire accident, timely and effective control for fire fighting and rescue etc.
