  • Abstract
    Different record structures from different online data providers requires software engineer to develop application that rely on these specific data providers format. These record structures can be determined from the metadata provided, but most developers do not released this metadata to the users. However, by using a metadata generation, developers can acquire the metadata provided. It helps the development of the application for generic data. This research developed a model that combine a metadata generator to an architectural pattern called Model View Adapter (MVA). There are two main components in this model, data component and visual component. The data component consists of two classes, Model and Metadata Generator while visual component consist of View class and Adapter class. The model was then validated by implementing an application called Feeder in mobile platform. The implementation had demonstrated that the model may give advantage to efficiency, maintainability, flexibility, portability, and reusability for software development.
