Abstract
A reduced complexity delayed adaptive frequency-domain equalizer is proposed for MIMO equalization in degenerate mode-group multiplexed systems. A factor of 2.8 reduction of the DSP complexity is obtained compared to the optimized delayed time-domain equalizer.
