Abstract
The supporting system is very important to deep foundation pit engineering quality. It´s affected by many fuzzy factors. Furthermore, the performance of each supporting mode can not be simply expressed as good or bad, it could be considered as a gray-colored question. In this paper, the task is taken as a comprehensive evaluating question to all kinds of supporting modes, and the best appropriate mode will be selected by its rank in the evaluation. As its grey-colored characteristics, the algorithm on grey system theory is used to solve the problem, and to get the best answer form the sequence it created.
