Abstract
Efficiency of miniaturized printed antenna can be improved by using a composite conductor, where the single conductor radiating element is replaced by multiple thin laminated conductor filaments. In this paper the application of this concept to a microstrip H-Slot antenna is presented. It is seen through simulations that using the proposed technique around 30% improvement in efficiency was obtained.
