Moving towards knowledge creating schools

Notwithstanding the fact that interest and applicability of knowledge management systems has augmented drastically during the past decade, the educational sector has struggled to garner attention in this respect. Current systems exhibit a vast amount of limitations and few instances were able to report successful implementation amongst academics and administration. This paper addresses these challenges by proposing eduKshare, a novel KM implementation for the educational domain. Whilst incorporating the popular aspects of documented frameworks in an effective manner, the proposed system enhances the applicability and usefulness of an education focused KM framework with numerous innovative concepts and features. Together these ensure the vast usability and applicability of the system.
