Abstract
In Romania, the LTE infrastructure is currently in development. This paper evaluates the LTE key performance indicators like spectral efficiency and throughput when fundamental E-UTRAN technologies are implemented. The results analysis should provide useful insights regarding the capacity of an LTE cell. The testing is carried out through simulations using the licensed network simulator QualNet Developer 6.1.
