Abstract
A new area-efficient band-gap reference (BGR) circuit operated at low supply voltages using 0.6 μm CMOS technology is presented. The new BGR utilizes dual operational amplifiers (op-amps) with small area due to small resistance and small diode ratio, so the chip size is smaller than 0.04 mm2. The operation voltage can be down to to 1.2 V, while the reference voltage (Vref) can be set to almost any values. The deviation of Vref is less than 0.18% for the temperature range from -40°C to 100°C
