Abstract
One of the primary tasks in wireless networks research is to develop an effective multiple access protocol for integrated service or multimedia traffic, especially in small-cell wireless networks. The performance of group randomly addressed polling (GRAP) protocol for wireless data networks has been demonstrated as efficient and reliable. To conform with the significant demand on time-bounded service, a reservation technique has been proposed associated with the GRAP as the reservation-group randomly addressed polling (R-GRAP) protocol. We analytically evaluate its performance to confirm the robust and efficient simulation results
