Abstract
Experimental investigations of breakdown in vacuum up to 7.6×10-6 Torr in weakly nonuniform fields with lightning impulse voltage of either polarity are reported in this paper. From the oscillograms taken for each impulse voltage application, measured results of statistical time lag, propagation of leader and breakdown characteristics with respect to Schwaiger factor are analysed
