  • Abstract
    Star graph has desirable properties for WDM multihop lightwave network, such as node and edge symmetry, low diameter, simple routing, etc. A multihop lightwave network, based upon the star graphs, is studied. Schemes for embedding the star graphs and a cluster of stars in physical lightwave networks are proposed. The resulting networks have many desirable properties: high capacity, self-routing, fault tolerant and good scalability
