  • Abstract
In this paper the application of Rough Set Theory (RST) to predictive maintenance problems is considered. Here, RST is used in Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) process applied data stored by Intelligent Field Devices (IFD). The main RST features are outlined and analyzed with the help of a working example.
