Radiated emission testing of large telecommunication systems

A new standard covering the measurement of emissions from physically large telecommunication systems which gives the flexibility of the technical file route without the need for a technical file has been accepted by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). ETS 300 127:1994. Following a general outline of previous applicable standards, the new standard is presented with its proposed measurement and test philosophy. Some experiences gained during the testing of a large digital switching system are recounted
