Abstract
A study is made of the electrodynamic characteristics of a circular, infinitesimally thin strip-loop antenna located on the surface of a magnetic-field-aligned plasma column. Integral equations for the current distribution of the antenna subject to the excitation of a time-harmonic voltage generator are formulated and solved in closed form for the case where the plasma inside the column is resonant.
