  • Abstract
In this paper we consider a simple abstraction of a cellular network, an abstraction that was introduced by Wyner in the seminal paper (A.D. Wyner, 1994). Working with this model we analyse minimum-mean-square-error estimators of the data symbols transmitted to the base station receivers by the mobile users. The base station receivers cooperate in the sense that the received signals at a number of base stations can be used in obtaining data estimates for a particular user. We tackle the performance analysis using a discrete-time version of the Wiener-Hopf technique and study the performance through some numerical examples
