  • Abstract
    This paper investigates the thickness-twist waves propagating in an infinite piezoelectric-piezomagnetic bi-material plate. The upper and lower surfaces of the plate are assumed to be mechanically free, electrically open and magnetically closed. The exact solutions of the thickness-twist waves are derived. As an example, for the propagation of the thickness-twist waves in the bi-material plate consisting of PZT-5H and CoFe2O4, the distributions of the displacement, electrical potential and magnetic potential are shown graphically.
