Abstract

Grids provide sharing of diverse and heterogeneous computing resources thus forming dynamic, multi-organizational virtual enterprises. XML along with Web services can lead to a standardized communication model for easy interoperability of grid services. When multiple computing resources forming a grid collaborate to solve a particular problem, proper authorization and authentication are needed for each of the computing resource to access. In this paper, we propose a single signon model for getting access to the grids in the backdrop of available technologies and work by several researchers.
