  • Abstract
    The authors examine the implementation and current status of two techniques which are capable of imaging the distribution of exogenous, free radical based contrast agents in vivo, namely electron paramagnetic resonance imaging (EPRI) and proton-electron double-resonance imaging (PEDRI). Both EPRI and PEDRI use electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) to detect and image the distribution of the free radical in the object under study.
