Abstract
Summary form only given. Continuous-wave twin beams, generated in cw optical parametric oscillators (OPO), show intensity difference quantum noise reduction. So far the reported measurements concern OPO operating with pump powers close to the threshold (P/P/sub th/ < 2.5). In this communication we report an extensive study of bulk nonsemimonolithic /spl alpha/-cut KTiOPO/sub 4/ (KTP) triply resonant OPO in different working conditions and configurations. We have investigated the OPO quantum behavior for pump powers up to P/P/sub th/ > 13.
