Abstract
An analytical technique to get the reflection coefficient for microwaves oblique incidence on a non-uniform magnetized plasma slab is presented. The plasma slab is modeled by a number of sub-slabs, each sub-slab has a fixed electron density, and the continuous boundary conditions of electromagnetic fields in every sub-slab surface are used to get the unknown total reflection coefficient. Based on the theory, numerical results of the reflection coefficient are put forward, and their relationships with the plasma density, collision frequency, background magnet and incident angle are discussed.
