Abstract
A novel optical polarization-mode-dispersion compensator (PMDC) feedback signal is proposed for alternate-polarization return-to-zero differential-phase-shift-keying (APol-RZ-DPSK) signals. The effectiveness of the feedback signal is demonstrated with numerical simulations.
