Abstract
In order to control position and shape of a plasma in a Tokamak machine, a measurement of the geometrical parameters which characterizes the configuration of the plasma becomes mandatory. Since some of these parameters are not directly measurable, they must be estimated starting from the set of available data. To this end the authors suggest the use of the ℋ∞ filtering method to observe the state variables
