  • Abstract
    Problems in present healthcare system are: (1) very poor chronic disease management at present in US and many other countries, (2) increasing dissatisfaction of consumers with their healthcare experience, (3) increasing dissatisfaction of health providers with the practice of medicine, (4) multiple medical errors in disease management, (5) significant deviations from known best care practices, outcome based health assessment and disease management rating system needed. The solution for the above mentioned problems are: (1) best integrated healthcare model criteria, (2) based on sound outcome based scientific principles, (3) compatible with the conventional medical system, (4) recognizes the uniqueness of each individual, (5) provides cost-effective and disease preventing treatments, (6) acknowledges the holistic nature of health: physician, patient, and intervention as equal partners in the healing process. The Life Science Medical Center has developed a unique interactive personalized health/disease assessment and management tool that integrates the best aspects of conventional and alternative medicine (e.g. Ayurveda, oriental/Chinese).
