Abstract
The bond graph method is used to analyze the power flow in typical one-mode and two-mode series-parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) transmissions. The power flow analysis is conducted for two characteristic HEV transmission configurations based on electric variator without and with electric accumulation. The analysis is illustrated by numerical static curves related to the maximum transmission output torque for a wide range of vehicle velocities.
