Abstract
The Bavarian Technology Center for Private Living Contributes to the German Energy Saving Policy In its research programs Green Factory and E|Drive-Center the Chair of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) is dedicated to balancing manufacturing technologies with the requirements of the German energy saving policy. Recently FAPS has started a new research program funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences and focusing on private living (E|Home-Center).
