Abstract
In the present paper we reinforce a poly(hydroxyethyl acrylate) (PHEA) network with a dispersion of nylon particles in the scale of nanometers; the resulting material may be called a “nanocomposite”. We study the ways in which different degrees of such reinforcement affect the dielectrical properties of the hydrogels swollen with different amounts of water. Dielectrical measurements are revealed as a sensitive analytical tool to study the states of water in these systems
