Abstract
This paper describes research results obtained with a single crystal film of P(VDF/TrFE). The author studies the structure of the single crystal film and the mechanical and piezoelectric properties are measured over a wide temperature range. The molecular chain motions in the paraelectric phase are revealed by dielectric and X-ray scattering studies, and the application of single crystal films to shear ultrasonic wave transducers is considered
